A Simple Poem
The sight of the rain,
Happiness without refrain.
Knowing that someone is here,
As I grow near.
The dance of clouds—
Their movements aroused,
As they sway their hips away…
Paving room, for sunny day.
Suddenly, sadness descends,
My hope relents.
Smiles becoming grim,
As my feelings become brim.
Where is my cheer?
If only without fear.
